Screen Shot 2014-03-24 at 9.54.00 AMA new study found that strawberries improved multiple markers of cardiovascular disease including significantly reducing total cholesterol by 8.78%, LDL (“bad cholesterol”) by 13.72% and triglycerides by 20.80%.  While eating a pound of strawberries daily may not be feasible, this study supports the importance of eating large quantities of healthy fruits and vegetables for heart health.
