In response to the upcoming implementation of the Affordable Care Act, also known as the ACA or Obamacare, we at Metro Immediate & Primary Care want you to know we are well-equipped and ready for the changes set to take place January 1st, 2014.
At Metro Care, we offer state-of-the-art medical facilities and board-certified physicians trained to receive patients from acute to severe, as well as, short to long-term medical concerns. In addition, we are currently increasing our staff members, including Physicians Assistants to better accommodate the volume we expect to gain from the ACA. And, most importantly, we already accept most major insurance plans, including Medicaid, and are prepared to handle and welcome the influx of newly insured people in our community for the upcoming year.
Metro Immediate & Primary Care is designed first and foremost for patient ease and accessibility. All of our locations are conveniently located close to Metro stations throughout the DC/MD area. In preparation for the ACA, we are currently expanding and adding new Metro Care facilities around the DC area, as well as, extending our hours of operation in order to meet the demand of new patients. Unlike traditional primary care facilities, we know that getting sick doesn’t just occur during standard business hours.
