Got the blues this season? You’re not alone. Whether you celebrate the holidays or not, depression and anxiety are common this time of year. As it gets colder and there is less sunlight, it’s important to take steps to maintain a healthy mind and body. Make sure you continue an exercise program, eat a balanced diet and incorporate stress relieving activities into your week. Try something new like volunteering or visiting old friends. You might just find some cheer while bringing joy to someone else.
Please remember that depression and anxiety are serious conditions. If you or someone you know is struggling with either of these this season, be proactive and seek help immediately.
